Encourage open, honest, and respectful discussion of the issues facing our community. For example, “this is not a question and answer session” is not a valid or acceptable response when residents raise concerns at Town Board meetings. I am calling for an end to this practice and instead will encourage the Board to directly address resident concerns, regardless of what they may be.
Oppose levying new property taxes, in particular, the proposed real estate transfer tax that would potentially cost Bethlehem homeowners thousands of dollars.
Protect and preserve the character of our community and its many beautiful landscapes.
Improve public recognition of our exceptional Town Employees and better inform the public as to what their jobs entail and all that they do on our behalf.
Continue to reach out to our local business community to ensure that Bethlehem is a town where businesses can establish, grow, and thrive.
